I interned with The Relief Foundation in the months of June and July, 2015. The assignment given to me was to read the various acts, statutes and regulations regarding Child Rights and the protection of children in schools. Since I am a law student, this really helped learn how the law actually works in practice. I had to apply my knowledge from the acts and statutes on to the CRCI tool. This really taught me how to interpret these acts and statutes. The assignment given was perfectly suited for a law student, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

Here's wishing The Relief Foundation team every bit success in their endeavours!

Thanks and Cheers

A REVIEW ON MY TIME AT THE RELIEF FOUNDATION: Honestly, in my opinion before I started volunteering here , I thought this foundation was working for providing "Education to poor" like many other organizations. But, if you ask me now, I would say that this is one of the best education systems I have ever seen. To give you some examples, the centres run by the foundation have opportunities for students teaching their peers; students learn at their own capability and interests; students' being aware of the environment and conscious of what they learn. I was able to see all these in action in the centre where I volunteer. It makes me to think that the work of the foundation synchronizes with the term education. As a volunteer, I have worked mostly on office related matters. I look forward to work with children in the days to come.

I am happy to volunteer for Relief Foundation.
